Privacy policy

This site exists to take booking enquiries. It collects as little as it can, keeps it only as long as it is useful, and never sells it.
What we collect
When you submit the availability form, we receive what you typed into it:
- Your name and email address, which are required so we can reply
- The event type, and optionally the date, city, guest count and budget range
- How you heard about her, and anything you write in the message field
- The page you submitted from and any campaign parameters in the link you followed, so we know which pages generate genuine enquiries
The form also contains a hidden field that people never see. If it is filled in, we treat the submission as automated and discard it.
What we do with it
- Email it to us at mgmt@deejaytjr.com so a person can reply to you
- Record it in a private lead log so enquiries do not get lost
- Send you an automatic acknowledgement confirming we received it
That is all. Your details are not added to a mailing list, not used for marketing, and not shared with anyone outside our team.
Who processes it
We use a small number of third-party providers to deliver your enquiry to us, to keep a record of it, and to host this site. They act only on our instructions, they are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes, and some of them store data on servers outside Canada. If you would like to know which providers we use, ask us and we will tell you. If you would rather not use the form at all, email mgmt@deejaytjr.com directly.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and to see which pages lead to enquiries. It sets cookies in your browser. We also use our host’s cookieless page counter, which sets no cookies and records which pages are visited and when an enquiry is sent, not who sent it. If you arrive from one of our campaign links, the site also keeps a small first-party cookie for 30 days recording which link brought you here, so an enquiry can be credited to the right campaign. It holds no personal information and is never shared. We do not use it for advertising, we do not build profiles of individual visitors, and we do not run any advertising or retargeting pixels on this site.
Embedded players
The listen page embeds players from Apple Music and Bandcamp, and the video pages embed YouTube. None of them load until you scroll to them or press play, and none autoplay. Once loaded, each is served by that company and may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy — data we neither control nor receive.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as they may lead to a booking or need to be referenced for one, and reviewed periodically after that. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to mgmt@deejaytjr.com and we will action it. If you are in Canada and unhappy with how we respond, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
